Hi, I’m Lisa Riehl - artist, creativity coach, and proud believer that it’s never too late to return to what lights you up.
But I didn’t always live a creative life. In fact, for a long time I wasn’t creating at all!
Although I loved to draw and paint as a child and young adult, I got swept up in “real life” like so many of us … University, a full-time career (medical sales), family responsibilities, and the endless to-do list.
My creativity? It got buried under laundry piles, work emails, and the belief that maybe that chapter of my life had already passed. My art supplies gathered dust while I told myself I’d get back to it "one day.”
But that little creative spark never fully went out. After years of feeling like something was missing - I started taking art classes again. One here, one there … I explored watercolour first, then fell in love with the beauty and boldness of acrylic landscapes. And later I discovered the joy (and pure magic!) of gel plate printing. I was so thrilled that things were really started to click.
