Hi, I'm Lisa Riehl ... Artist, teacher and proud believer that it's never too late!

Years ago, I was where you might be right now - far away from my younger artistic self. My creativity was buried under laundry piles, work emails, and the belief that maybe that chapter of my life had already passed. My art supplies gathered dust while I told myself I’d get back to it "one day.”

But that little creative spark never fully went out. After years of feeling like something was missing - I started taking art classes again. One here, one there … I explored watercolour first, then fell in love with the beauty and boldness of acrylic landscapes. And later I discovered the joy (and pure magic!) of gel plate printing. I was so thrilled that things were really started to click.

Over those many years of taking courses, I stitched together a new version of myself. One that I was proud of. One that felt more alive, more present, more me - brush in hand, heart wide open. Not because I was creating perfect art … but because I was finally creating again!

Now, I teach what I wish I’d had back when I was just starting again - without the years of second-guessing! … I provide a warm and welcoming space to play, explore, and create freely. No pressure, no judgement. Just a place to reconnect with yourself, remember what lights you up, and finally make time for the creative joy that’s been waiting for you.
