Hi, I’m Lisa Riehl - artist, teacher and proud believer that it’s never too late to return to what lights you up 😄

But for years, I wasn’t creating anything.

I’d loved drawing and painting as a kid, but life took over - university, a demanding career in medical sales, family responsibilities. My art got buried under laundry, emails and the nagging fear that maybe that part of me was gone for good.

But the spark never fully went out ...

After years of feeling disconnected, I started taking art classes again. Slowly at first - one here, one there. Watercolour, then acrylic landscapes, and eventually to the magic of gel plate printing. The more I created, the more ALIVE I felt. Not because I was making perfect art - but because I was finally making something again.

Piece by piece, I found my way back to a truer version of me - grounded, open-hearted, and willing to make messy, imperfect art.
